At this point, I’m pretty sure Musk believes “free speech” means “freedom to suppress speech”.

Yes, it must take years of owning a company before you take a look at one of the main driving codes in the company.
Ian Bremer, a founder of the political risk consulting firm Eurasia Group, alleged that Musk wrote this tweet after speaking with Russian President Vladamir Putin. Musk has denied that claim.
Gotta keep Putin happy
It’s at this point we would reach out to Twitter for comment, but Musk made the Twitter media account automatically respond with a “poop” emoji.
They are parsing the shit out of this to clear Clark.
yep, the double standard is pretty glaring.
I mean, children’s jokes are to be expected, but there’s no excuse for having a weak narrative in a kids’ film. You can’t tell me that most of Pixar or Studio Ghibli’s outputs don’t have a strong narrative, for instance. Kids deserve good stories more than anyone.
It’s Ilumination so what did people expect. Every film that they have made has been mostly fine boilerplate animated family fare which is fine for keeping the kids quiet for 90 minutes but is largely forgettable. They aren’t Pixar at their best but they aren’t trying to be either. Nobody was expecting Citizen Kane…
At least Zack had the good sense to not try and explain the RAP. Too often I find myself reading Kotaku articles dealing with legal or business issues (like the FDIC stepping in to insure SVB depositors) and it becomes all too apparent that the author is out of the depth.
moonpie?
An attempt was made. A failed fascist policy is still a fascist policy.
Holy shit, I can’t believe I’m seeing the Rule Against Perpetuities used in real life, and reported on in a Kotaku article no less! It was the bane of many a first-year property law student and has been abolished or replaced with something slightly less nonsensical in many jurisdictions. Nice to see it’s alive and…
Reddit can suck it. I used to visit my cities sub frequently. Then a post was started about a local drag queen story hour, and some knucklehead said “I cant wait to go strapped with all my guns, just to watch those people poo their pants!” I responded back, “You might want to reconsider that, liberals own guns too”.…
You're right; the counselor may have union protection. The actress, not so much.
I got temp-banned for violence after jokingly saying to remove the valve stems from ICE cars that parked at Superchargers.

Awful but lawful. Can you imagine if that was your brother and are finding out about this with everyone else and then that it all anyone thinks about when they think of you? Then your job fires you? I think they deserve compassion and not ostracization.
None of the things listed on that page include “making us look bad by being related to a multiple murderer”... also, even if that was the case, as long as you’re not dumb enough to put it in writing or saying it out loud, proving wrongful termination of even people in protected classes is crazy difficult.
