@TomXP411: Even with the Star furies? Ok, sure not 100% accurate, but 99% better than anything else before

@CuriousYellow: Agreed, or even a short run of features analyzing what out favourite shows/movies are asking us to swallow

@PlaidNinja: Thats probably what they were shooting for, but I never really understood its motivation. On the one hand its lying to him, and on the other hand it tells him things to solve the mystery. Left me feeling that it was really only there to help move the plot along.

@Tomtitan: I think Firefly did more than its fair share of trying to be scientifically accurate. I never noticed the sun issue either, and I'm kinda glad they chose to ignore it. Having planets overly bright or overly dark only takes the focus off the storytelling.

@jabber: If you want to talk about Newtonian physics, Babylon 5 really set the standard for that one, leaving aside the alien tech in the later series that kinda threw it aside.

After I die I promise to donate my body to science, provided they guarantee to use it to answer this very question.

@Killjoy: They'd just get hammered with Street View takedown requests.

@jabber: Yea, I've already shed a tear over that news.

@comrade_leviathan: Hmm, I somehow missed this one. Was it any good? And I mean good on a relative scale, ya know, in the grand scheme of monsters frozen in ice movies.

Typcial layabouts. And they're probably on welfare as well..

@AtomicBeerMan: I wouldn't really call out only Dictators in that. Most politicians are "selfish, pleasure seeking vermin"

Simple. Democratic leaders have to worry about public opinion, and so force all their mistresses to have abortions to cover up their infidelity.

@thesmilies: They're doing a pretty good job with their reCaptcha game screwing up the results.

@junior ghoul: Well said.Article title is very misleading.

@knyghtryda: Really? Sure the story wasn't exactly classic material but its the best depiction of space travel I've seen in a long time.

@grayzilla: Thats not necessarily a bad thing. Too many movies today are toned down so as not to upset audiences.

@atropia: Good call on Cargo. One of the best depictions of space travel I've seen, and a good story as well.
