Tesla has a way longer runway than Fisker ever did. Plus, Tesla (or it’s assets) would likely get gobbled up by a competitor on their way down.

I doubt it was even required. When somebody realizes they’ve made an $80k mistake it’s not uncommon for them to go “above and beyond” in their own mental gymnastics to convince themselves they’re thrilled with the experience. Tesla stans seem to exist in this baseline state of self-delusion most of the time anyway.

Saturn lost its charm when it became rebadged Opel/Vauxhall models.  When Saturn came out it was a legitimate competitor to the Japanese imports in terms of reliability, quality, and content.  Once they stopped producing stand-alone models that differentiated themselves from the rest of GM’s product lines they lost…

And as a heads up from someone who pursued a lemon lawsuit with Tesla, they *will not* offer a settlement to get you to go away. Most automakers will toss you a few thousand bucks in free service or parts. Tesla WILL take you to court if you pursue a lemon lawsuit.

Tesla’s market cap is more than Toyota and Honda combined.  What the short sellers have known for a long time is that the company is massively overvalued, and we are finally seeing some correction to their stock price.

Maybe it’s like those iPhones that everyone was "holding wrong" and definitely didn’t have glaring antenna design flaw.
