He reminds me of a friend I used to have who was a really good guy, but also at times a huge asshole and easily the most violent guy I’ve ever met. He was generally nice enough and cool to hang out with, he’d help you out with stuff if you needed help with something, just kinda the sort of guy who you say “yeah, he’s

Honestly he probably was an asshole to them, becuase he’s Bruce fuckin’ Lee and nobody gets to that level of success without acquiring an ego along the way. But personally I don’t care becuase I assume that most celebrities are assholes.

At a bowling alley, or at the very least with a bowling bag somewhere in the background.

I guess they only have one tag for infrastructure... otherwise they would have tagged it “our adequate infrastructure that wasn’t designed to handle the impacts of global warming”.

unless I’m missing something, the article doesn’t claim that the infrastructure is faulty, just that it can’t keep up with the temperature (which I wouldn’t call faulty as it this of obviously outside of the design parameters).

“and that’s why you leave one car length for every 10 MPH of speed”

she wasn’t standing a bit too closely to the road, she was hanging over the edge of the road and with the sign directly in front of oncoming Peleton, which she would have known if she wasn’t making a dumb face for the camera. It’s very likely that there was no malicious intent here. But she still intended to hold that

I don’t see any spaceships there, so I’m sticking with Chrysler

The rocket has to put Chrysler over the top here; nothing else comes close in terms of size, range, or complexity.

Half of those features literally did not exist when this car was made... I have have driven manuals for a while so I didn't even know cars put the transmission into nuetral or cut the ignition if the door is open or there is no weight on the seat... Not to sound old or anything, but I was taught that the driver is

That, or a modern 2nd Gen CRX. The proportions and angles of the 2nd Gen CRX are the platonic ideal for a compact fastback car. If Honda made a car with that shape, modern styling details and a modern drivetrain I’d be waiting for the dealership to open the day they arrive.

You’d think that this would catch on, since most mid/fullsize cars are actually hatchbacks crossovers now. Sure, they’re not quite as squared off as the hatches from the 90's, but a solid plurality of the cars these days are essentially streamlined s-box designs. I would say that true hatchbacks like the Fit are

Toaster Strudel is so many time better than pop tarts that I don’t understand how anyone could possibly compare the two. The only reason why I don’t buy toaster strudel on a regular basis is that if I did, my kids and I would eat them every day and we’d all end up morbidly obese. That and I don’t want to listen to the

Just becuase you unlock it like that doesn’t mean you can’t turn it 90 degrees to the side. Movies have been shot in landscape since the technical ability to do so was developed, becuase our eyes are side by side and not one above the other. It’s how we experience the world around us.

ozone is pretty toxic and the EPA seems to think these Ozone generators are not too great either.

Who knows maybe they will send out a software update that tightens up the lock to lock

My blower is the 24/7 type as well and I keep the good (not the top of the line but not the low end either) 3M filters on auto-order with Amazon, IMO it’s worth changing them every month even though they supposedly last 3 months.

You’re right, and commenters have been bitching about it since day 1. But back in the day GJI was maybe 1/10th of the total content on the site, Probably a lot less than that when TV Club was at its peak. now it seems like a solid plurality.

I think the ultimate goal would be an AI so advanced that the car knows when you want to go home, shows up where you are, and automatically takes you home. In theory that sounds great but I don’t know if that’s what people really want in a car. Personally I’m off put by the car making the decision even if it makes

I think a crane is the worst case scenario for both detection and the crash bar, becuase it’s narrow yet massive and strong. I’m guessing that makes it harder to for the sensor to see compared to the broad, flat front of a truck trailer. And obviously the crash bar doesn’t roll up it like a sardine lid the way it does
