Bethesda lost its shit over this scoop: https://kotaku.com/leaked-documents-reveal-that-fallout-4-is-real-set-in-1481322956

Welcome to the Pyrite Age of Televsion!

I’m increasingly getting the impression that the heads of the studios would rather just get out of the whole entertainment business entirely and move into something more reliable like furniture wholesale

We always talked about the ‘Golden Age of Television’ ending at some point, but I really didn’t think things would get this dire.

The other option (which actually happens pretty often) is that a retailer actually sold them to him before the street date. What makes that much less likely is him selling them at retail price, since obv. he’d not be making any profit.

Memphis, huh? Given that this guy had physical merch, it makes me wonder if he had access to a secure warehouse adjacent to FedEx’s facilities at or near KMEM. Lots of stuff gets pre-positioned for later retail releases from cargo hub-adjacent warehouses like that.

Bros Against Humanity

Lol. I *guarantee* they were trying to find ways Jason could have an “accident”, Russian Oligarch style.

He is in possession of a product that he has not business being in possession of.  I can only think of two ways he got a hold of the product.  A) he works at a reseller’s warehouse and stole them from the warehouse; or B) he somehow got himself listed as a reseller and obtained the copies that way.  Under Option A),

I bet Todd & the gang wishes they could have done this to Jason Schreier lol

There are a variety of other reason why some of these anomalies are happening. Low res image composition also doing this sorta thing. Other non-AI tools in photoshop that are used to “fake” quick work.

I got the book The Art of Atari and it’s freaking amazing. Some stone cold classics in there as well as truly fantastic stuff that I either didn’t see at the time or forgot about.

Person of Interest was S-tier. So was season 1 of Westworld for that matter.

I wonder if Amazon saw Disney getting dragged for hilariously claiming that the AI opening credits of Secret Invasion were some sort of metatextual statement rather than just trying to do visual effects as cheaply as possible and decided to not try that, but rather just hope the initial outrage died out pretty quickly.

Second for me. First was Fallout 76.

“Bad photoshop” does not produce cars with headlights in the trunk and women with three legs unless the person at the computer is drunk as fuck.

“It’s a shame that Amazon took the cheapest route ... without even taking the time to do any sort of quality control”

Huh. This is the first piece of Fallout media that made me WANT the bombs to drop.

Oof.

What better way to illustrate a show about a dystopian future?
