You can travel pretty far and for a pretty long time with just a carry-on’s worth of clothing, and you don’t need to worry about waiting for bags, losing bags, dragging bags around, etc, etc. Stick to basics, stick to black or neutrals, roll things tightly, wear bulkier things on the flight - EASY.
