It sort of bums me out that the last few Nintendo consoles don’t enough wacky color schemes for them to be used in this way to mod future Nintendo consoles. That’s a little meta, I’ll admit.

Couldn’t disagree more with you on the merits of 3D on the 3DS. I play with it on every time I play the system, and I find that it enhances the graphics. 3D is also part of the reason I love PSVR. 2D gaming is, for me, becoming harder to enjoy. I love the industrial design of Nintendo’s new system, but I mourn the…
I don’t know what to make of all these numbers.
While not as bad as what is shown here, I do find it weirdly difficult to remove the Joy-Con straps, especially given that 1-2 Switch wants you to take them on and off in-between mini-games. Maybe they’ll get “broken-in” over time?
Would buy on PSVR.
It might be interesting to add the 3DS’ launch to this since it launched at a similar time (March 27). I do agree that some key information is lacking, but I also think they were hesitant to say too much before holiday 2016. Was it like this for 3DS?
I feel like the Miiverse revamp (with Play Journals and whatever) sort of ruined what made the original format special. That caused me to use it much less often, as well as just not playing my Wii U as much (and the slow speed). I wonder if they saw declining usage overall and decided to kill it. It’s a bummer that…
Wow.
What I don’t what I don’t get is how GameStop doesn’t realize they need to completely alter their approach to the store experience. I really find going into one of those stores to be a miserable ordeal. Everything is just crammed onto shelves and in to displays in the middle of where you want to walk, and it’s…
I can see how they got there, but it does not jump out at me when looking at the real logo, even after seeing it.
Does mobile VR allow 3D head movements, like if you lean forward? Or does it just let you look all around from a fixed position? Without a camera (or other “fixed” device) watching you, and no “inside-out” tracking, I’ve been wondering if that was possible.
Yeah, I thought that was weird, too.

This is a really fascinating read, and it’s done in a “fiction” style, meaning it reads more like a novel than a dry historical account. That said, it definitely tells more of the story from SEGA’s side, which isn’t the worst thing because it’s a little more interesting in this context. Recommended!

THANK YOU! I especially hate that I see this for literally any download of my free space hits around 20 GB. If I get down to that range, it will show me this screen even for a <1 GB game download. And, yeah, not being able to play disc-based games without installing is a major bummer for this generation.
I got The Witness recently and have spent hours playing it this weekend. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it, but I’m so compelled to keep solving puzzles.
Love this! I hadn’t my mom try Ocean Descent on PSVR. She thought it was neat but then had no interest in trying a second experience. Oh, well.
As a PSVR owner, I can state a few observations:
The big update with Game Journals and whatever else killed Miiverse for me. I just liked it as a basic thread/commenting system. Now it seems confusing.
Did you really want it to be longer?
Favorite thing I’ve read all day.
