I like the idea, but it's too hard to keep the propeller hat that I think I need. Do I need it? Not sure.

Yeah, something felt lost in the translation. It was beautiful but lacked Zelda’s typical charm. Also, I think the vines and plants distracted from the normally clear level design.
I’m playing it for the first time, too. It’s taking me just as long as to get to the same point! Weirdness.
I would be fine with the addition of an auto-attack option to help with early-game grinding...but, otherwise, I am very displeased to hear they’re changing the battle system.
But I think the narration in Alan Wake was one of the key reasons that games was awesome!
It bums me out that games like this often come only to PC and only make it to consoles if they’re super-popular. I would love to play this if it were on PS4 or Wii U.
The original film holds up 100%. Not just nostalgia.
I still have this toy, and I somehow managed to never lose the piece of skin! It's right by my SNES, for which I still have the Jurassic Park game featured in this article.
I'm glad this exists, but I'm not sure I need to play these again unless they add some really significant changes.
It just seems like Konami should sell off some of these properties that are more suited to AAA console development (like Metal Gear and Silent Hill) so they can focus on their mobile division. It’s fine that they’re not interested in that business model any more, but fans of those series don’t want mobile games.
Yeah, the fact that this trip really didn't impact his ability to complete his degree makes this a little confusing and a lot unfortunate.
“Insuburbia,” lol
I love that game! I mean, I only have the one copy, but still. My only issue with it was the lack of a save feature because it's a pretty in-depth game with lots of areas to explore.
No word yet how this will effect regions outside Japan.
Even the “continual crunch” outlined in the article that doesn't just happen at the end? Im no stranger to the concept of extra hours when a big deadline is approaching, but we shouldn't accept that as the norm. If it's like that for months and months, then something is wrong, in my opinion.
I think you've missed the point.
No, having a publisher publicly state that they won’t allow really egregious crunch by moving game realize dates as needed.
So...are they not going to release a version that comes with its own hardware? I don’t see how VR will gain mainstream traction without a standalone model, but maybe that will come in the future.
Great, great article. I hope some larger publisher will help set an example of saying “no” to crunch by pushing games. It might hurt in the short term (maybe a game misses a financial date window); but, over time, it should even out. Here’s hoping, at least!
I know!!! The whole video was awesome.
