Agreed! But I'm curious if Lee hits the "Black Cool" paradigm you mentioned. Why/why not?

So why not just play on casual, then?

Well, this is just disappointing. David Hayter's performance is a huge part of what I love about MGS. Yes, characters like Bond change actors, but that's because it's a physically-demanding role, and there's a time limit for any actor. Not so for voice actors! In fact, one of the best parts about the Duck Tales

Hmm, yeah, that is weird. It's hard to tell what it's connected to!

There seems to be a fair amount of debate here as to the merits of this plan, but I think it's fair to say that this is a personal decision. For my two cents on this, I have two tidbits to relate:

Very, very interesting article. Even if only some of what he said was true, that's still some serious stuff. As others have mentioned, you kind of have to hope that, if he's really so talented, he might get scooped up one of these companies to really handle their security.

In fairness, Bill Trinen from NoA's Treehouse always does his translating—including onstage at events like E3. That's who you're hearing in this video.

Um...no? Wii U is definitely on-par with 360/PS3 (if not harboring the potential in the right hands to push beyond them a bit). I'm quite confident it could run a game from literally YEARS ago.

Oh, I don't think the delay has to do solely with Wii U. My guess is that they're working on a bit of polishing...but mainly to do a version for the next-gen Sony & Microsoft systems. It would be really bizarre if they didn't do some kind of port that maybe even had a few extra features to go along with the shiny, new

As someone with a Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3, and 3DS, I sit here now and think I'll be just fine waiting until holiday 2014 to consider replacing my Sony or Microsoft box. But, as we all know, it only takes a little bit of magic to get a bunch of people jazzed about new hardware. That one killer feature or must-have

Yeah, I'm also really confused by the controller comment. I still have NES, SNES & N64 controllers that function perfectly. What are you doing to them!?

So...does this mean we get GTAV on Wii U? Please?

I actually luck out based on the layout of my house and the position of our living room TV and can, wonderfully, use the Gamepad from the comfort of my bed. I've attached a rough blueprint showing where it works and doesn't work for me, if you're interested.

I wonder how much this impacts the Average Joe's interest or lack thereof in a Wii U purchase. Honestly, I still think there is a lot of ground Wii U can cover simply by word of mouth for Nintendo Land as a party game. I have had numerous people come over who really had no idea what the hell was going on with the Wii

Having lived in New England for a while and visited these rest stops, I can confirm that (while they are better than some gross rest areas you'll find in other parts of the country), they're by no means swanky :-)

I wish more sites would do more comprehensive reviews/run-downs of eShop games. IGN used to do an AWESOME eShop review roundup every week, but that has stopped despite reader complaints in the comments. I used to always look forward to that.

Well, those are all great points! It will be very interesting to watch their evolution.

In fairness, downloading another edition of Angry Birds does not lead to the closet clutter of Guitar Hero. Although I'm not a major fan of the series, I can see it having potentially longer legs simply because it's such a time-waster. Guitar Hero was very much appointment gaming that also required lots of gizmos,

A Wii U version, especially if it had off-screen play, could be really amazing. My GamePad works in my bedroom, so a little GTA before bed sounds like a great way to end an evening! Even if it doesn't come at launch, I'll wait a while before purchasing on PS3 or 360 to make sure Rockstar doesn't plan a Wii U

Great point—off-screen play is awesome and Miiverse support is a HUGE selling point! I have the other systems, but Wii U is by far my platform of choice already.
