Any word on whether "Murder on the Titanic" is any good? I'm guessing it's not, but it kind of visually reminds me of 999, which is only a good thing. Unfortunately, I'm sure it doesn't live up to that pedigree.

Yeah, I'm also confused by this. Tell us more!
That estimate was laughably inaccurate. It just finished downloading. Now it's installing. Why is the Wii U *so* bad at estimating times!?
It's sneaky because the system doesn't tell you that it's downloading it! If you hit the home button, you'll notice that the "Download Management" icon is animating subtly. Click into it and you'll see that, lo and behold, an update is downloading! I was poking around the system for 10 minutes before I realized this,…
I think this is a really on-point article, but my biggest question is: what now? What, if anything, saves the Vita? Price cut? Cheaper media? Would amazing games alone save it?
I think the bigger question to answer is how good the development tools are for this engine. Obviously, this looks fantastic: but when another developer gets this, how much work do they have to do to get their own cola bottle to look that good? Or their own eyeballs to reflect so well? Hopefully, this is built so that…
Right—the GamePad is basically streaming content from the console, but on a connection that only works at about a 25-foot distance (or less, depending on walls) from the console. It does not have any "brains" of its own for actual computing—just video and input processing. *Not* a portable device like the 3DS.
Same here. It's cool that Fahey is covering this beat now, as it's definitely part of the gaming landscape—but I think these comments point to how badly a better mobile site/app is needed for commenting, etc.
Comments on the mobile site!? Also, I'm jealous of these action figure scenes.
I haven't played any of the DS Professor Layton games before, but I like the idea of having this downloaded on my 3DS—seems good for on-the-go, bite-sized play. Can I start with this one?
I like the mini-me vampire.
That's sort of what I feel. And, yet, I would like to get this. But $40 seems so steep for what you're getting. Shouldn't this be a $20 game? Or at least $30 if you downloaded it? Why no savings in the eShop?
This is an *excellent* point!
Oh, I guess I missed that. But, you're right: even if it wasn't going to be shown, not addressing it all AGAIN AND AGAIN is just so weird. I think, at this point, I'm hoping more for the made-for-TV movie on the development story than the actual game! lol...
Does it at least come with some kind of transfer utility to bring all of the stuff from your 12GB to the new HDD? This just seems weird. Why would they even offer this?
I think the presence or absence of The Last Guardian at this show is like some kind of last straw for the game. Sony has to know at this point that EVERY show that goes that by without mention of this game just adds fuel to the fire that it is troubled, canceled, or otherwise going poorly. If it doesn't show at this,…
I agree! Early videos of LBP made me so jealous that (at the time) I didn't have a PS3. Now I have LBP and...never really play it because it's just not very fun (to me, at least). It's not bad by any means, and the art style is simply gorgeous, but there is something missing. Now this game has my full attention, and I…
I kind of agree with that as well. I think this concept is super-cool, but animations looked stiff, camera angles looked a little rough, and so on. However, if it's early enough that the name isn't even final, I have high hopes that they have many more layers of polish to add before release. Really makes me glad I…
Either way, I think it's clear that Media Molecule has a good music director/department.
