I kind of like that. It focuses on the original journalist who did all the work by forcing us to click through to read his unveiling. Putting the punch line, ie. her identity, in this article would have been easy but deprived the journalist of having his work read.

My father lost his ring and index fingers on his dominant hand in a work accident and they couldn’t be reattached because they were, ahem, ground off rather than merely sliced. But he manages really well. Keeping your thumb with one additional finger to oppose it is really the key thing.

My take on the two videos (which I can’t believe I watched a lot of): she doesn’t have any sexual attraction to her husband anymore (or maybe they never had sexual chemistry and she just ignored that until now)

Thanks and I see all those other replies that link to info about the vaccine. Dang, I want that vaccine now! I’m scared of getting rotavirus. Off to research if you can ask for it as an adult.

Since you asked, the Ivy League schools in the US are all prestigious universities. Although people use Ivy League incorrectly a lot to refer to the top echelon of schools generally, technically it only refers to 8 old prestigious private universities in the Northeast of the US (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown,

I’m a little confused because is there even a vaccine against rotavirus?? I thought this was just something everyone risked and is just a particularly virulent stomach flu-like bug.

Yeah, no judgement on their sexuality be it straight, bi or gay. But definitely does not comport with the life he was portraying.

Well it is common for people hit by cars to actually fly out of their shoes. Sorry! :(

Anyone who works in IT for a company or, like me, works in legal and has to advise IT or human resources has seen more weird shit then you ever want to know about.

Is this Mika’s actual reaction to this clip of Johnson or something else? I’m curious since the scroll at the bottom of the screen implies they are talking about it.

Yes, that was my favorite too especially because it was one that was first aired in the US as our Season 1. So many good bakers that year.

It’s definitely not shit so don’t get depressed! Still endearing Britishy folks and Mel/Sue at their best with lovable Mary. The shit baking is just a trend I’ve been noticing and maybe not others.

It’s easy to watch it on BBC iPlayer on a computer with a VPN (one you pay for, not a shady free one). I have no patience or desire to deal with finding a clean, bootleg copy on the net...I’m only happy watching it directly from the source.

Also similar to the required annual gingerbread house fiasco.

I have now, thanks to your comment, seen the similarities to Guy Fieri here in the US and will forever be unable to unsee. Paul Hollywood will now forever be “British Guy Fieri” in my mind

Yes, I hate shows that concentrate so much on the drama between competitors rather than the actual product they are producing. Plus nothing can compare to the bucolic loveliness of the whole GBBO aesthetic and it would be difficult to duplicate.

Who in the hell negotiated this deal at Channel 4? They bought a very expensive show from the producers without negotiating any contracts in place with all the lead talent first?!? The value of the show has to be significantly tied to the hosts. There is something definitely off with the whole sequence of events

It’s known as the Great British Bake Off in the UK (hence the acronym GBBO for short). For some dumb reason, it was renamed the Great British Baking Show for PBS. You should fix the second paragraph.

That’s interesting about Garnier. I only have used the Bioderma Micellar water (which is fantastic) and it looks like pure, clean water to me. No oil at all.
