It’s incredible how much credit we give to the actual director of a movie. We have a tendency to forget that there is a lot behind the production of a movie that does not necessarily involve that person either directly or personally.

The movie would have worked more, for me (still loved it), if we didn’t get to see anything from the other side. If, from our pespective, she just went through, and we learn that there were 18 hours of static recorded. That would have made my day. hehe
