Yeah I could see how someone could jump on that bandwagon if they didn't actually watch a bunch of RLM videos first. And let's face it, with today's short attention spans they probably skipped through the RLM videos for 15 seconds and made up their mind.

Weird, spiteful article. RLM covered the films release at the time with their 'Half in the Bag' review, clearly the long-form Plinkett reviews don't need to be timely.

I'm a Kiwi! Just used a VPN to access it for free.

He definitely doesn't suit the role and it should have been a Thai guy for sure, but they were lucky to score him for promotional reasons. God knows that Bautista would have been kicking himself once he was actually on set and filming it opposite the wooden lead actor. Bit of a step-down from GOTG :-(

Yeah, and the system that Amazon use to 'rate' the pilot is farking terrible. I'm hoping they actually just base it on who streams it - all the way through - the most, over that appalling feedback system they have. I could barely even find it…

Too busy filming Hard Target 2 I'd say!

"Even though Van Damme—who would develop substantially as an actor once most of his movies started going direct-to-video—was no one’s idea of a thespian in his Kickboxer days, he at least had pretty-boy looks and a sort of goofy Chippendale dancer charisma to lean on."

To IOs credit a lot of the intentional humour is also hilarious.

Miles Davis shoots everyone. Totally not what I was expecting.

The guy throws cards at people! How can you sustain that for 2 hours? He doesn't deserve a stand-alone film. Move along.

My favourite Steve Martin film is Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and overall I've just been let down by his last 20 years worth of duds. But I have to say my Wife and I watched Pink Panther 2 (with extremely low expectations) and we really enjoyed it. It's crap, but Steve Martin still shines in it … not as brightly as he

I was intrigued after this review and watched the trailer. 100% laugh free. I guess it comes across better in long form?
