Look Smithers! Garbo is coming!

Since we (FINALLY) got a lsfyl of holding out for a hero, I feel obligated to remind the world of Tandi Iman Dupree's #legendary performance of it:
https://m.youtube.com/watch…

HD has served nobody well but Aja has definitely been the biggest victim of it

People (including Oliver in the review) have said that jaymes got on too early to shine but Aja strikes me as waaaaay too green for this very talented season. At least pearl had a distinct look and good wigs.

Jesus Christ there have been blatant "just for drama" eliminations before but Kimora lost that fair and square. When the most exciting part of the lipsync is taking your hat off (without even revealing another wig!) then you gotta go

Of COURSE the shit eating worms at the Daily Mail were largely behind the public defamation of Knox. Why look for things like "facts" and "evidence" when there's a woman to slutshame!

I should be writing a paper but let's do a Drag Race Top 3 Power Rankings instead.

So now that we have our top three, how do we all think is Miss C? I'm leaning towards Chi Chi but I feel like there's been a ton of really sweet, personable queens that could justifiably take the title.

Ah but then we wouldn't have had the glory of all the queens tearing her a new one on untucked!

And it's almost always the older queens too! I get that it can be frustrating when you've been doing something for a while and then everybody's doing it because it got popular but you've got to recognize the reality of the drag scene right now.

I don't say this lightly at all, but Kim's runway look tonight was one of my favorites of all time.

Honestly Betty seemed pretty subdued during untucked, but it was more about the Derrick/Bob drama that clearly won't be forced on us this whole season.

Ummm so if you haven't seen Bob's performance of "I'm a Slave 4 U" please do yourself a favor and watch it now (though I cannot emphasize enough how NSFW it is):

One of my favorite subtle editing moments from this episode was having her say that and then having her give a solid 2/3's of the bitchy cutaway interviews.

Boy Thorgy is giving me 90's lesbian beat poet and I'm HERE for it.

I feel like Dax is going to be restricted by copyright issues, since she won't be able to recreate looks. Still, she's Violet's drag mother so I can't imagine she won't be able to come up with something.

One of my favorite shady moments on the show was Alyssa saying, "Coco, how do you feel, doing Janet six nights a week but only being safe in the snatch game?" or something to that effect.

Phi Phi has really come into her own post drag race. I now genuinely believe that her youth and inexperience got the better of her on her season. Her drag is much more polished, streamlined and ambitious, and her attitude has improved dramatically. Her Instagram is one of my favorites of the RPDR queens.

I saw very little of Naysha or Laila in the trailer, which is a shame because I liked both of their MTQ videos. Having said that, Laila is ripe for the "little drag queen that could" storyline that Ru loves so much (young, big personality, strong but unpolished look) and Naysha's pageant record is pretty impressive

To be fair, the scene where she says she's going to cut the guy's dick off and we later see him bleeding from the crotch was probably my favorite part of the film. (Though yeah the treatment of her character overall was pretty shitty)
