So I says to Mabel, I says..

I had no idea what that thing was when I saw it at Hot Topic this weekend. So I went back to helping my lil sister find a choker. It was a weird time all around.

They have been "exposed" to each other but interacting with each other hasn't really made strides till recently. For the South, Jim Crow didn't really die, it was just an unspoken tradition.

Actually, Dragnet did an episode about bracing for riots after Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated and a episode about recruiting black officers. These episodes were as square as you can get with the lesson being that "people will always have hope and will do what is right."

It's been used as a nickname for Rihanna. I think I had a classmate called Riri as a kid but yeah, it doesn't sound good yelling it out to a yard full of grade-school kids.

Sideboob rulez

Oh, boy…

Actually, it isn't that simple and I didn't mean to imply it was. I was saying that some companies spend (or squander) money on things because it may make them look successful and cool. It's in the same vein as throwing lavish corporate parties: Because they can.

I've done event coordination for speaking events. Yeah, sometimes IT IS about having a cool speaker. Sometimes it is about creating the illusion this people are friends of the business when they speakers themselves just look at it as a paycheck,.

Yes, our election process/system has made it almost impossible for someone outside of the 1% to win (or even run).

They are both very prominent people, why wouldn't people throw money at them to speak? I think a thin argument could be made that they aren't being bought but just in high demand. I do believe that Clinton cozies up to the business world and deals are made. But I don't think she is Hillary-bot following the 1% orders.

I wanna know what the hell happened to TruTv, formerly CourtTV. When did it become Prank TV Central?

As someone who only recently became fan of many of these franchises, I just find fan entitlement weird. I am old enough that I grew up watching Ghostbusters on VHS but I didn't get into superheroes and Star Wars until college (and after college). Hearing about "this is the way it should be" makes me go out and find

I wonder if the level of anger and backlash for remakes and reboots comes from the greater power the fan has and remembrance of movies past. Decades ago, remakes were viewed as cash grabs or a vehicle to put a hot young star in. Yes, this is still true today but studios are much more likely to respond to criticism

If this show somehow includes Sam Waterston and Sam the Eagle arguing over a case, I'm in.

Well, that's one way to pop a cherry.

I just know Morris Day and the Motherfucking Time is the answer. Someway, somehow…

We pretty much have the end result of that on Veep.

Had a quick fling with inanimate carbon rod. The break up was nasty

I remember hearing on some show a character request that their ashes be thrown in someone's face. I want that. I want it to be like a Glitter bomb but with ashes to whomever I want, an old asshole boss, Donald Trump, Ann Coulter, etc.

Kasich just dropped out. Hmm, for some reason, I expected him to keep going despite having no chance, like he's been doing anyway.
