Something definitely seems off when the villain is the one that needs the power-up in order to compete with the hero.

He’s somehow related to the Kais, specifically a kai from universe 10 named Zamasu, who also has an unhealthy attitude towards mortals.

Well, Black was horribly outmatched by Goku last time they fought, yet he’s the villain of the arc. It’s kind of obvious he would get a power up at some point.

Saiyajin(Correct spelling) its the original name in japan and in several countries around the world because in most languages there isnt a acurrate way to translate it. Sayan(Maybe Saiyan, i dont know the correct spelling) its the oficial and best possble translation to english. Both are correct to use.

Saiyan is the English localised version. Saiya-jin is the original Japanese version. Depending how weeb you are(or if you reside in a country that left it as Saiya-jin when translating) either is correct.

While it hasn’t been 100% confirmed, I’m of the believe that this is simply how Super Sayian Blue looks when merged with Black’s ki. (Either because of its black color, or because he’s already a god.)

I wonder if he is actually the Zamasu from the future who has fallen. If that’s the case, perhaps they might be setting it up for the Zamasu of the present to overcome his evil-self?

This is probably something unique to Goku Black because of whatever fuckery he used to get Goku’s body.
