Given that most (if not all) of the pokestops were originally locations user-submitted through Ingress, I’m thinking it probably depends greatly on the game-playing habits of those who live in and around those neighborhoods.

Same here, hoping more will come out. It’s not like there’s numerous styles with curly conspicuously absent - there is ONE hair style which is presented in light, dark, and anime colors. Girls with short har are also given short shrift.
The thing is the avatar hardly matters in this game. It’s very basic in that it only gives you the option to be slim, four different skin color, six different eyes and hair color and a few different outfits. The avatar is probably the least important thing in this game. This is just complain for the sake of…
It’s a Japanese creation, no? Not surprising it might look like it is.
I know this (literally) pales in comparison, but I remember how bummed out I used to be as a kid when the dolls/characters/avatars options never had my red hair (Merida wasn’t around. Ariel is the closest I ever got!).
While I see your point and I understand the importance of including diversity in avatars, the avatars in Pokemon Go are so irrelevant to the overall game. There is no point to having a million options for each feature so that it can look exactly like you (or exactly how you want it to look).
That does suck. So does that fact that the avatar is very slender. I'm short, fat, with a shorter than chin length haircut. My avatar looks nothing like me.
Nothing will top this. Nothing.
Wait the head is totally fake? Holy junk.
Why allow people to have fun? Goes against everything Iran believes that their God despises, pity no one finds out the truth until they're dead.
One could hope. Although that says more about their children not understanding to NOT run into the street than it does about Pokemon Go.
“Supreme Council of Virtual Spaces” sounds like a government agency founded in the Digimon universe after the real world suffered major damage from a Digimon fight in the middle of a major city.
lol, they really thought “We accidentally transferred a high-CP Pidgeot, complained, and so Niantic gave us a legendary” was a believable story? Schmucks.
Yup. Though Niantic would’ve likely caught it anyway due to analytics.
You are officially banned from the internet for 48 hours. Keep it up with the puns and it’ll be a month.
You got some reeeaaal beef with Ohio goin there. Who’s to say the people of that fine state won’t get a chance to catch a legendary, just because it’s not cold enough? Even Lebron moved there to get away from the heat.
Huh. I just thought they were lying. Well good for Niantic for fixing the situation. And just think, if those people weren’t attention whores, they’d probably still have it.
So I guess its ArticuNO for them. Sorry that they have to be left in the cold (not).
They don’t need to. It’s done daily to every player when their servers bonk out.
