Thanks for pointing out the misinterpretation of that scene, something that always bothered me. Lots of other reasons to criticize Whedon’s writing without misrepresentation.
It’s particularly weird that Will’s dad says “The Authority” to his son, rather than “God”, a term he’d know his son would be familiar with unlike the term from Lyra's world which he'd have little reason to assume Will would know. Show shying away a bit from the theological implications, perhaps?
Swapping out the spurned witch lover for some random Magisterium mook... arghhh, go soak your head, Jack Thorne, you oaf. Such a shocking and wild moment from the book, perfectly epitomizing the capriciousness of adults and relationships just as Will is developing similar feelings of his own, and it gets thrown away…
Arkham Knight got pulled off every PC digital platform.
Right, but they did it with bow and arrows, and weren’t able to just evaporate into smoke and warp around willy-nilly to kill everyone in sight.
I really enjoy this show’s opening credits and theme song. I know they were going for a GoT feel but, well, the credits at least have gotten there 85/90% of the way. she used me as a Trojan horse to kill her father
Not sure how I feel about trying to fully match the art style of the original Nomura designs and keep it look a bit comic like.
Man, you can’t see the nub marks at all.
The previous two in odaiba were already full size. They just didn’t move as much as this one.
***I’ll try to keep this spoiler free, but my last paragraph is semi-spoiler-y.***
WOW. This was worth reading for the description of Gleipnir alone. I’d never heard about this show before, but now I’m simultaneously intrigued and weirded out. Sounds like an interesting watch.
Golden Axe movie when?
