"Project Caliban" is a creation for the series. In the book it's never explicitly called that to any of the POV characters.

How could she have missed the $1200 in UN scrip in the nightstand? Honestly!

Or…before she reached Mars. Soon as she boarded that shuttle back to the Scirocco her life would have been forfeit.

She was never going to be "safely back on Mars" — and I think Bobbie finally realized that about the time she punched Martens in the face.

In the book Martens really was just a Chaplain. There was another officer who went all "bad cop" on Bobbie, telling her her career was over yada yada yada she joins Team Avasarala.

It's not the protomolecule on Ganymede that drives the action in Book Three….

I'm a former soldier, and I blanch at it every time. As I recall, Marines are dead-serious on never being confused for Army types — so their conversations are peppered with "marine this" and "marine that" and "semper fi" the other.

Those particular scenes hewed very close to the book, including the pizza and the dumbstruck pause before Prax triggered the firefight.

Spacing people isn't just a thing Belters do.

And with that confirmation, it's not a stretch for Bobbie to conclude that she might not make it back to Mars, what with being the only eyewitness and all.

Bobbie is smart enough to realize that if Martens and Korshunov didn't want her talking on Earth, they surely won't want her testifying at her court-martial.

I would like to have seen Fred's poker face when she told him the last name.

It was amusing to get a glimpse of Captain Martens' uniform, which still has MCRN Sirocco emblazoned on the back. I get it for functional, everyday jumpsuits — but a Martian Marine officer's dress uniform?

Certainly looking forward to the resolution of all that. I'm really glad they chose not to give all those future-season story elements to Dawes and Diogo.

Other than it being almost exactly like the scene in "The Man in the High Castle" where Juliana dashed for the Nazi Consulate with Japanese troops in hot pursuit, it was good. Certainly more dramatic than the book.

"NO, Darkseid was created FIRST; Thanos was the knockoff created three years later. Look, we have Jim Starlin admitting he was inspired by Jack Kirby's ori— what do you mean, 'Who's Jim Starlin?' What do you MEAN, 'Who's Jack Kirby?' Oh, fuck it. Write what you want."

You know, the one thing I miss from buying DVD sets are the bonus features and commentary tracks — although I guess now podcasts are taking up that slack.

I think he is playing her, by changing one thing in his confessional — that Mao was colluding with the Martians on Ganymede.

I really expected Amos to pay him with Alex's lasagna — so much better than canned chicken.

In this world of legacy ratings you keep describing, where does YouTube Red fit in? Or the original content on the PlayStation Network? The fact that Netflix has made it OK to give the middle finger to AC Nielsen has been both blessing — from Stranger Things to House of Cards — and curse — Adam Sandler movies.
