@MaWeiTao: Well, it is a Corvette interior. They're not really known for quality in that department.

@pauljones: So YOU'RE the reason the Earth is spinning on it's equator now.

@fhrblig: You did catch the engrish misspelling, no? Perhaps it is not visible enough in the shrunken pic, but click to blow it up. There's still some funny there.

@protomech: Huh, that explains that — I thought the alarm system was factory-installed. Anyway, remember when he took it on the road test with the other 2 guys, and he was pulling over to put gas in it every 10 minutes? Clarkson loved the GT in more of a weekend fling kind of way — she was a hell of a lot of fun

Hope it's not from the same guys that did the limited "edition" Kia Rio.

Dear God, WHY?!?!

@jeff-the-ffr-fan: Because noone was buying it. And, those who did hated it — just ask Jeremy Clarkson.

@Spaceboy: Maybe, but you'll still have to have the pump to rotate and filter. Different nasty crap grows in stagnant salt water. It does make for a pretty picture, though.

@mkbruin: I think they were defining "Retro" as "cars that defined their decade".

@Kulprit442: Yeah. Eastern European heaven, which is a bit like American hell. They just label the door differently.

It's a Yugo. Cmon! A polished turd is still just shiny shit. Crack. Pipe.

I'm not buying it. One reason — it has a swimming pool. Pools take immense amounts of chemicals and power to keep clean. In an environment like that, without proper chlorination, pH balancing, and constant filtration (using an electric pump, usually), that pool's going to turn into a stagnant mess of mosquito eggs.

@KamWrex: I think the gag was she was supposed to have overheard her boss call her that, and pronounced the acronym like "hope-ah". There were several shots of her trying to figure out what it meant. Just another "my boss is stupid" gag.

@Zinger314: Not at all. This worked exactly as it was supposed to. Had you ever heard of "The Chive" before now? I hadn't. But post pictures of an attractive girl quitting her job in a playful, cute way, put your website's name on the bottom, pimp said pictures like crazy until mainstream blogs pick them up, and

@OA 5599: I think you may have something there. Being drive-by-wire, the accelerator isn't physically connected to the throttle, rather, it's connected to a computer that measures how far the pedal is pushed, and opens the throttle that amount. I think the EDR measures actual throttle position, so that would come to

yes, Yes, YES!!!! Oops, sorry.

@irishman72: Worth a drive north across the border for some gravy fries and a little automotive upgrade, followed by a balls-out blast back across it under cover of night.

@heltoupee: Oh, shoot, did we mean most retro-looking modern car? I'll stick with the same theme, then. Chevy SSR
