Have met him, can confirm
My mother died over 10 years ago and it took my little brother standing up for me at Christmas for my older sister to realise that she has been horribly abusive to me... sadly, some people just refuse to see it.
I think these weirdly spelled names are a typical Mormon thing that then spread. Can’t figure out why though, I feel like I’m losing IQ points each time I read one...
I think you mean the Duke of Windsor and not the Duke of Westminster
That commentWe is contradicting themselves and coming across as having very stereotypical views. This is what I responded to her in case it gets dismissed
I will try to reply helpfully to your contradictory comments: technically, the Irish are not Anglo-Saxon. Anglo-Saxon refers to those of Germanic descent - so from the Home Counties and the East of England. It is also not a very pleasant term - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nordic_race. More modern genetic research…
This does make sense. It seems very clinical but I guess it is better than getting sick and risk infecting other people too!
Hahahaha indeed! That is my fear! I’m definitely up for a different kind of spreading though!
Exactly. They can pride my tweezerman tweezers from my cold, dead hands.
I have a silly problem: there is a guy that I like A LOT. He came to see me today at my house and we hung out while staying socially distanced. He commented that he wished he could kiss me when he left. I am not sure if he meant on the cheek as a friend or more. So my question is: should I go for it when I next meet…
Being passive is more aggressive than action. I’m on the receiving end of this after my father died this year.
I had the reverse of this thought many times this year: I felt very grateful for the good fortune that I have. I live alone with a dog in a big house. It has been hard at times, but I’m painfully aware that it is a walk in the park compared to what most people are dealing with.
Exactly! Sir McKellen, Prue Leith etc are over 80 so they are entitled to their vaccine. Not only, but as they take it abs tweet about it, they may encourage more people to take it up. I approve
She has a CBD line!
I was going to say exactly this - mett is usually pork but can be also made with beef. Eating raw meat is actually quite common in Europe - steak tartare, mett, carne cruda, carpaccio etc... I do like it on occasion, and I rarely ever eat meat
Someone I know did this for their 40th: they booked a suite in a hotel with a Michelin starred restaurant and got the food and wine delivered to the suite (no service).
Wealth management cannot originate or authorize loans - they do not have a balance sheet to use. They will however arrange loans for their clients. By the way, I work in investment management...
Anyone with a net worth of over $1m gets followed by the wealth management office...
He lived 3 doors down from my parents in London (and I do realise that I’m probably doxxing myself here) and he was a true piece of work. A virulent Scottish nationalist too, at that.
