Pretty surprised the Tom & Jerry doesn’t make an appearance anywhere in the upper midwest.

This part of why I’m deeply suspicious of games that are only multiplayer. I still have games from like five generations ago I could pick up and jump into (assuming the hardware hasn’t failed in the interim) but people a year from now won’t be able to play Titanfall.

A thing I’m never quite sure of: Is a star anise pod the entire multiple pointed plant part, or a single point of said plant part.

Like people who are really into coffee will tell you that you should use way more grounds than you think you do. But people who are really into coffee don’t drink Folgers.

He can’t have mine.  I still like to play it sometimes.  It’s like Metal Gear Sandwich.

I always felt that some of the traps/trials were maintained/updated because the grail knight had literally hundreds of years to wait around and nothing to do.

My dear departed mother used to eat stale movie theater popcorn (smuggled home after a film) like cereal- in a bowl, covered in milk, with a spoon.  I imagine the problem here might be the pepsi.

What I want is the regular oreo cookies with the oreo thins amount of “stuf”. I find a little “stuf” goes a long way.

Pshaw, the Tyranids are the good guys/gals/drones/whatever. They’re the only faction that has the stated goal of “ending all of this”.

The funniest thing about NFTs to me is that “actually having the file on your hard drive” is a much more meaningful sense of ownership to me than “your name is in a ledger on the blockchain associated with a url that points to an image.”

I don’t like ranch, so I certainly won’t be buying this.  But I am curious about the recipe.  Since you can’t copyright a recipe, I’ll be relying on someone somewhere to order this kit and post the recipe somewhere.

I’m doing a write-in for sweet potatoes.  They belong in pie, but not a side dish.

They are desperate to get people to install that app, huh?

While continuing to call it “The Staples Center” is currently an option, I want to float the idea of referring to it exclusively as “the Crypt” and dressing up for home games like it’s Halloween (hey, it worked for the Raiders and they played outdoors).

Is it just me or is the data on the linked article unavailable?

Like you’d think that this would lead to the end of Kotick at Activision, but then you realize that you have no idea what it is that the board of directors actually sees in him to begin with.

While technically every pizza I get from Domino’s has 6 times the available amount of corn, I would love to eat a pizza with a big pile of corn (and a spicy powder) on it.

I remain, as always, puzzled why someone would actually want to own an NFT.  Like the environmental and ontological issues aside, I have yet to see an NFT that I would actually want to look at twice.

Why two?  If I have one it will all fit in, should I not use it?

That was Vincent Canby of the New York Times (which I believe was a paper of record in 1982): https://archive.ph/20131026034311/http://www.nytimes.com/movie/review?res=9801E6DA103BF936A15755C0A964948260
