I mean, if I’m going to watch, say, Dune, King Kong vs. Godzilla, or the Matrix 4 in 2021 (and I’d like to), it’s sure not going to be in a movie theater.  This seems like a fight between distributors and creatives more than “anything that affects me very much.”

Crunch doesn’t work (in any industry) because people who are stressed, unhappy, etc. make more mistakes than people who are generally just gruntled.  It generally takes more time to fix the mistakes from people who are crunching than the extra time crunching creates.

It’s really kind of amusing how many games have “the DLC was the best part” considering the amount of people who decried the very concept of DLC.  The cries of “they should have just made it part of the game” coming from probably the same people who get apoplectic when a game is delayed.

People sort of forget how much better the Witcher 3 was like six months and a whole lot of patches after release compared to “at release”. I figure it’s much the same with Cyberpunk, but the hype train got out of control on this one.

I’m just annoyed that the default is “ham and pineapple” rather than the superior “ham, pineapple, and hot peppers”.  Spice massively improves the hawaiian pizza, and like “jalapeños blanketed in melted cheese” are a better option than “post-oven crushed red pepper flakes.”
