1) SimCity is just a disaster. Even if you forgive the rocky launch, and you do believe the EA spiel about "it's not DRM, since it's an MMO", who on earth was asking for a SimCity MMO? I love SimCity, I have bought every game in the series, but at no point in my 20+ years playing SimCity have I thought "I want to

1) Monaco: What's Yours is Mine (best couch co-op in years, if not decades)

This inspired me to go count my games, and across all current platforms the only game that is clearly First Person shooter* I own is the copy of Halo Reach that Microsoft overnighted me during their new disc format preview program (it cost me $0.00 and I only played it for the two hours MS asked me to.)

You had to figure it was going to go to a big publisher, and much better that it be EA than Activision. I mean, EA's got Bioware, D.I.C.E., and Visceral (among others) who are very talented studios who could make great Star Wars games if EA lets them. Activision has what, exactly?

I love Mass Effect. I have all the premium editions, books, and comics. I even really liked the original ending to Mass Effect 3.

I always thought "spook" was a slang term for a spy or someone who was engaged in espionage since their job required that they be like ghosts. I had no idea it was a racial epithet. Can someone explain that one to me?

I bought Fez because it was great. Whether or not Phil Fish is an asshole had no bearing on that.

Were Costume Quest and Stacking not included in the auction? I was hoping Double Fine could get those back. Or is that just in the "other" category that Nordic bought?

I strongly prefer Dishonored, since it works as both an action game and a stealth game. Infinite is purely an action game (it's just a first person shooter with some magic and an interesting setting.)

I honestly prefer Bioshock 1's combat to Infinite's, but that's because I played Bioshock as a wrench assassin.

I would also like to ban unicorn hunting, the sale of sasquatch meat and hides, and all trade in Jackalope ivory.

I don't buy games like Call of Duty or Battlefield as a moral choice. Not because I have any objection to guns (in fact, I own guns and am generally in favor of them when used responsibly) but out of respect for friends of mine who have served in the United States armed forces (some, unfortunately, lost their lives

"Right now it's less an MMO and more a single-player game with online capabilities"

I'm honestly ashamed of "gaming culture" for insisting that EA is worse than companies like Ticketmaster (who produce nothing but expense and inconvenience) and Bank of America (who actively engages in ruining people's lives/the economy.)

Having to fiddle with the camera is one of my least favorite things about first person shooters (and in fact, all first-person games), so it's definitely not a problem.

I'm really glad someone went to the trouble of making this, not only does it save me $60, but it also saves me the trouble of playing through a game I would not enjoy just to get to the good parts (the story, themes, ideas, etc.)

I really think that I'm going to skip Bioshock Infinite entirely; not because it's not good (because I'm sure it is) but because it's absolutely not the Bioshock game I want to play.

Well, the premises of Grim Fandango and Full Throttle doesn't really scream "this is a comedy" either. Humor in games is generally more about tone or anything, and Mr. Schafer's brand of humor tends to revel in absurdity, which I'm sure there will be a lot of.

Being respectful of other people is awesome. I really respect the heck out of Obsidian's writers who worked on Fallout: New Vegas. It's a refreshingly tolerant game.

I very much want to play Fallout 4 or TESVI. I would not want to play them at all if they had Dark Souls or Journey style multiplayer (unless I could just turn it off and play solo). Different strokes, I guess.

It's still a MLP game, it's just no longer an MLP game featuring characters that Hasbro owns. Hasbro certainly doesn't own the notion of brightly colored anthropomorphized horses, pegasi, unicorns, or identifying flank-marks.
