Honestly, Chris Rock’s opening monologue really pissed me off. It was 90% just the same old “the government doesn’t work” crap that fails to realize that the government failing to work, especially these days, is primarily the result of one party doing absolutely everything they can to prevent the government from

The annoying rich teen who wants to go to third class to get some noodles feels like a very believable annoying rich teen who thinks they’re rebelliously slumming it by being in proximity to poor people!

I can’t tell you how good it is to see people saying this here. I’ve supported him since the beginning, and watching the narrative form has been enlightening to say the least.

Actually, going by the standard of the last AV Club article on Pete Buttigieg, Bernie Sanders should heretofore be referred to as “Bernie Sanders, who is most famous for running two failed presidential campaigns.”

I get that hardcore lefties got scared by Buttigieg and how his campaign aimed for the center so successfully, but it doesn’t make the smear campaign against him look any less unmotivated and ridiculous. It’s like MAGA, only more intellectually insufferable.

Seriously. What the fuck did I just read? A gay man runs for president, and the AV Club berates him for not being liberal enough. In the age of Trump when fascism, and nazis have become relevant in domestic politics, we’re going to point to this guy as being part of the problem, and give him a dressing down for not

So literal hell.

You gotta wonder how this article might have been written if Buttigieg had endorsed Bernie Sanders instead.

If Jacobin and The Root had a stupid baby, it would be this.

I miss Sean O’Neal so much. These imitators are unbearable.

This article was brought to you by the campaign to elect Bernie Sanders.

Welcome to The AV Club: All Snark, None of the Wit

Even by AVC standards, this one is just pure bile. Yeesh.

What an unnecessarily pissy article.

I'm saddened nobody ever thought of that joke when the show was going.

All I can imagine now is BoJack auditioning for the role of the horse in a Catherine the Great movie.

Don’t watch the show and didn’t read the article but judging by the headline I’m guessing the horse doesn’t get many lines?

It’s simple. ANTI. TRUST. LAWS. Write your senators and representatives. If they current laws don’t work, make them stronger.

I’d rather there be a Constitutional amendment limiting the size of any company to 5% of the market, or something akin to that.

Yeah, who wants to see a beloved entity be taken over by some corporate overlords? Why that’d be like this here AV Club being purchased by some large conglomerate and shifting its editorial viewpoint to accommodate their new corporate masters.
