Absolutely spot on, owned one in the era & while I liked it a lot. It really was just mishmash of tuner parts bolted on In the factory

Per lap, once you exit you get back in line. Well worth it
Don’t forget the screw on exhaust tip with TRD branding, that’s serious performance
Not all are rough, my family (now me) have owned a 2002 s6 avant since new & the only repairs have been two ac compressors & a sai valve. The 4.2 is a thirsty yet reliable motor
It was available as a dealer installed option, not very well integrated but still pretty sweet. I believe all c5 wagons had the mount points & harness connectors (occupancy sensors) for them
The dream is alive with the golf r
Here in Canada we see skylines daily, they were made in large numbers. Expect this in the us as more are legal. The enthusiasm for classics drive brand loyalty & image. The first two Titan XDs I saw in the wild were towing r32 gtr track cars.
In the original script his hero car was the rx7. Vin Diesel did not fit in the rx7 hence the muscle cars
Also don’t see the resemblance. That nsx is not a real type r btw. Still a nice buy at 30k
I owned a 96' about ten years ago. In stock form it was most like my sl55: a big cozy gt coupe, that loves to pass on the highway. The power band felt endless (in boost). Charging down sweeping on-ramps to highway speeds was delightful. Wonderfuly planted & powerful. With a tune (everything stock) bringing the power…

Alternative headline: Car company does what every other car company does.... I thought you were different bro
I believe the “police-rated speedometer” is a calibrated speedometer. It’s a feature in (all?) police vehicles where the speedo reads highly accurately, unlike sad civilian cars. Can I get ungrayed?
I believe you are correct it was Jdm only but many have made to rhd countries & I have seen a few here in Canada. I have only seen automatics though :(
Had this happen to somone I know... he gps tracks his dog but not his 100k plus trailer / race car that sits in a unsupervised yard 250 days a year. Whoever makes these trackers needs to market at race tracks
What makes talking about people playing with a ball worse than talking about people playing with a virtual ball? #savetherealballs
So true, we call my friends modded evo 9 mr (very rare in Canada) the wiener lure. Every time he parks it random dudes will be just hanging out around it.
So true, extruded aluminum shell... no problem. Washer hose that won’t fall apart... not so much. Classic germans
I bet there is a very cool carbon full car aero undertray that they will show off a some point
I’m running a 17 x 8/9 myself on na power & would only wanna run a set of four rears on street slicks for autocross / track duty. So expensive tho :(
