To all the greys insisting that her *other* career is how she should be identified:

Yup, commercial driver instructor here and you never ever admit fault or even express any kind of remorse lest you invite legal problems. It sounds messed up but legally it's correct behavior. I'm not surprised at all that Twitch is remaining mum on this poor lady's situation.

That’s been the case for as long as I can remember. When I first learned to drive it was hammered into my head that if I was ever so much as in a fender-bender to never say “sorry” because it would be used against you as an admission of blame.

...what seems striking and heartless is that the streaming platform has not even reached out to Chechik privately.

Pretty clearly a hardcore fan based on my name. Now thats out of the way I will agree with the premise sort of. The changes dont bother me anymore, it took some people a season but it struck me right away this was not the books and the series has no loyalty to the story as written. Cool, adaptations SHOULD be their

And they didn’t make that statement initially because? Did they feel that admitting they have an official policy against supporting the mockery of a brutal dictator but no policy against taking the dictator’s money might be harmful to their brand? It's called "news". It's silly to choose to interpret it as hate.

What hate is in that headline? As the article says, their is a massive sale on at Epic and could potentially get a ton of people get their accounts blocked if they buy a certain number of games. It’s better to warn people about that issue with reporting like this.

Epic, buying up every exclusive and banning you for trying to get a deal on it.

“But I don’t want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked.

To me, her use of the qualifier “and will never be” suggests she didn’t just mean “short-term.”

I... had no idea that was a concern? That seems extremely obvious.

I agree with this. It’s surprising the lengths we will go to in order to make something not make sense when there are simple explanations right in front of us.

Spoilers, naturally.
