It’s the ghosts of all the people that are going to die in the future on the Starliner.  Ghost don’t have to pay attention to time, they’re not clocks.

Does this mean the owner of a local shop can have their store “shut down” and “seized” by police if they happen to have an outdoor security camera?

It’s one thing to request footage and/or get a warrant, but literally taking away the vehicle itself and holding it hostage and useless is a whole different level.

Not just treading, full on stomping.

First gear — Towing someone’s car like that seems like serious overreach. I mean, you can’t compel a human witness to testify even if they were right there at the scene, so taking someone’s car seems like a huge violation. I mean, sure — ask the owner for the footage, and get a warrant if needed, but people also have

It reminds me of this line from Wrongfully Accused:

Police suck, I get that it has “evidence” but towing an innocent bystanders car that doesn’t have direct physical evidence such as blood splatter, fingerprints, or bullet holes on them is bullshit. Follow some kind of procedure that doesn’t deprive someone of transportation unnecessarily, leave a note on the vehicle,

You get all you deserve at this point for buying one.

Reason #2500 to not buy a Tesla.

That sound you just heard, that weird high pitched whinny followed by a heartfelt scream of “fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!!, that was NASA now frantically considering the whole “just haul Atlantis out of the museum” joke a viable plan...

I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t buy it just to make himself the star.

He’s going to show up as a guest on WWE sooner or later, right?  It seems inevitable at this point, now that I think about it.

Polestar 2's starting MSRP of $48k is spot on the average new gas car price, so I think that’s fine. Of course the bang-for-buck ratio when comparing specs against Tesla for example isn’t great.

Abandoning any pretense of caring about the climate was just part of Musk’s deal with the far-right devil he worships. After all, he runs an AI and robotics company, it’s not like he runs a car company or anything, right? He doesn’t even plan to be on this planet much longer (lucky for the rest of us).

Musk never cared.  He was marketing his product.  Money and power don't change you, they make you more of what you already were.

It’s what Henry Ford would have wanted!

Except that’s not what DEI is outside of Fox News talking points. Making people from different backgrounds feel included in the workplace is not “pandering.”

It’s always good when hateful assholes like you show yourselves.

Jim Farley wants SO badly to be part of the Elon/Trump orgy.

There has been a solid push by right wing activists to go after DEI.  Boards and Execs are all republicans generally so the minute they thought they had cover, they did.  Rich White Men were never going to actually champion dei.
