The GOP has been trying to blame Buttigieg and the government for buying up EVs for no reason to prop up EV sales (even though it’s 100% bullshit), so I would not be shocked at all if they actually did that as they are notorious for doing the very things they accuse everyone else of doing. I believe it’s called the

There’s a reason that for most corporations, the CEO is basically a faceless automaton in a suit. There’s a reason why most corporations take stands that are already focus group tested to not offend their audience.

It was creepy, but not surprising, when Trump started talking up EVs recently after Musk’s contribution.  The fact that he basically said that he changed his stance based on Musk’s support is pretty frightening if you’re looking to avoid a full blown (more than we have now) oligarchy.

Elon Mush is a giant fucking POS and you shouldn’t give him one thin dime of your hard earned money.

A drug company can afford to do this sort of thing an not worry about being cancelled, since Trump’s supporters all pretty much rely on colloidal silver and other snake oil remedies to treat their ailments, anyway.

Elon’s support of Donald The Felon causing Tesla sales to tank.... Yes Virginia, schadenfreude is the best emotion.

Be sure to air your dirty laundry and show your whole ass on the Internet as well. Sage advice.

It’s too bad he’s going to end up horrifying rich no matter what he bungles and destroys, but it’s still nice to see the invisible hand of the market slapping him around.

Exactly. It’s about god damn time the fucking fascist was hurt directly financially.

1st Gear: Good.

I will not be surprised when Musk starts suing people that canceled their orders because it violates his free speech rights to support an orange asshole.

Maryland truly is the worst. There is no greater coagulate of apathetic, regular pathetic, aggressive, oblivious, lazy, and unprepared/uninformed drivers. I miss driving in NYC. At least there, someone cut you off and it made sense that they almost missed their exit. Here? They were just going 34 mph in the left lane,

I have to agree with HelloSparky.  Maryland drivers seldom signal.  They’re just THERE!

I think Texas deserves an honorable mention. The 10-12 hours it takes to get across it are INCREDIBLY boring, and the traffic in the big cities like Houston and Dallas are incomprehensibly bad. I grew up driving in LA, and Houston is by FAR worse. You can at least (mostly) time LA traffic to miss the really jammed up

I’m actually sort of grateful for MAGA signs and Confederate flags - helps me to decide where not to do business.

Or even “hey, we have a new propulsion method that is quieter, faster, requires much less maintenance, and you can “fill up” at home every night”

Regardless of which side of the “political aisle” you sit on, it is wild to me that there is a large group of people who are simply unwilling to accept anything that could improve the environment.

I was just there yesterday and driving back to BWI from Ocean City was a shit show. The left lane campers and oldsters driving the speed limit or lower was causing me to lose my sanity.

Also, you know you’ve entered MD when you start seeing vehicles abandoned on the shoulder.

Maryland. It’s a lynchpin for the Northeast corridor and the stretch from DC to Delaware is interminable; it’s one of those places with people with many different driving styles getting in each other’s way, from aggressive New Yorkers and New Jerseyans to southerners going north while having little idea how to
