I regret the impacts on actual workers that are trying to prop this company up and just do their jobs, but they—and the world—would be far better off if Tesla vanished from the face of the earth.

If competent management (read: the government) took over Tesla and put the cars aside but dedicated its entire operations to just producing batteries and chargers, that would be a huge value add.

EV owners, like all people, are all over the map. I have never seen one of these abominations in the flesh and it seems unlikely that I will for some time, which is good since it will save me the trouble of creating some significant and sizable safe distance from my car in the event I do see one nearby.
