Considering that most “sovereign citizens” are likely to be white, the cops will probably tend to be more cautious before deciding to shoot the person.

They just don’t like anyone questioning their authority, but a lot of them (sheriffs particularly) happily sign on for “sovereign citizens” rejecting state or federal authority because that suits their ideology.

Don Lemon is not Walter Cronkite or even a particularly good person, but it sure sounds like he committed the cardinal sin of actually doing the job of a journalist and that kind of thing would NEVER be welcome in Elon’s world.

I’m not an engineer, but if we can have warnings on our cars when the trunk gets left open, I’m pretty sure someone can design something that would alert a pilot when part of the plane literally falls off mid-flight.

Are you serious with this? Do you honestly not see a difference between a regular car and a jet flying 700 miles an hour 30,000 feet in the air with 200+ people on board? Do you not think there should be a higher standard for aircraft than for a car? Clearly you must work for Boeing with those low standards.

I went to the theater this weekend to catch Kung Fu Panda 4 and they had a BUNCH of promotional Madame Web posters sitting out for the taking. Naturally I had to grab one as a memento/collector’s item that I’m sure will get shredded on the floor of the backseat of my car and found in seven months and I’ll wonder what

I’m no health nut, I started my day with a handful of Sour Patch Kids because they were left around in the office, but it’s galling how bad most seed oils are for you and no wonder that countries with higher standards ban them.

Considering that the initial rush toward EVs has slowed dramatically and people are still mostly defaulting to ICE cars or plug-in hybrids, we’re not going to get remotely close. Other countries are able to do better because they actually have governments capable of encouraging or compelling the use of EVs far more

Automated driving should be illegal. Full stop. No car should feature it, period.

How does a huge panel fall off a plane mid-flight and there is no alarm or warning to the pilots that anything has happened? It just happened to be “discovered” after landing?

Frankly I’m surprised considering that our former president, who remains the most popular political figure in America and with a unique and compelling ability to communicate about real issues, seems content to do nothing but hang out with celebrities and hone his own ego and fondness for fame. He’s like the anti Jimmy

Exactly - this movie seems like the same kind of mealy-mouthed opinion from nowhere that declares both parties to be exactly the same and if we all just came together in some kind of warm fuzzy face-to-face (but somehow involving 330 million people) that we’d all realize that we have a lot in common after all. In

After spending 20 some hours with the game, it’s pretty clear that Rebirth is just a bunch of minigames (and tasks, because Cloud is nothing but Chadley’s errand boy stuck doing repetitive tasks and chores pinpointed on a map in different areas) strung together and occasionally interrupted by actual plot, with zero

Another one of those stories where you don’t even have to read the details to know the dolt in question is a Republican.

We’re all rightfully mocking this bigot’s joke of a lawsuit drafted purely out of entitlement and pique, but it’s going to suck when it ends up in front of some MAGA judge who agrees to give her everything she’s demanding so that judge can own the libs.

Because they’re so entitled that they think everyone should be forced to listen to their dogshit opinions at all times.

Turns out it’s not great to be able to get a constant glimpse into someone’s every brain belch and fart.

Just shutting up is totally an option!

Because they don’t bother to read the entire text of the First Amendment any more than they bother to read the entirety of the Second.

Her right wing fanboys would absolutely go to the mattresses for her—and they tried—but what these people never seem to realize because they live in a hermetically sealed echo chamber is how few of them there actually are, so they have a surprisingly (to them) hard time tipping the scales in their favor culturally.
