If you think Donny fucking Deutsch is representative of the Democratic Party, you’re really lost.

That’s why I said “a healthy proportion” and not “all.” But some of the lunatics commenting on this article are Exhibit A for my point.
Really? Nothing about Comey’s intervention? Nothing about the electoral college despite her winning by three million votes? Nothing about Russia’s interference.
I’m not a centrist, and that’s an easy choice, Sanders every single time. But the threats and infantile behavior from his followers like this certainly doesn’t make me very enthusiastic about him.
Even a short tour of Bernie Twitter (or hell, the comments section on this very article) shows exactly how “kind, gentle, and tolerant” you all are. A healthy proportion of Bernie fans are conspiracy-driven cult members.
And those people were garbage for doing that in 2008 too. Does that make you feel better? Two wrongs don’t make a right.
Thanks for exemplifying why a trip into the Splinter comments section is like a tour of Shutter Island.
THIS. A thousand times over, this.
It could have something to do with his work to portray her as a corrupt out-of-touch elitist, a narrative which Trump proudly ran with based on the template Bernie laid out. (Yes, I know he enthusiastically campaigned for her in the general, but the damage was done considering how many Bernie voters then voted for…
Shocking that the editor who literally referred to Bernie as “my dad” in a previous article would post a hyperventilating defensive piece about his prospects.
This is another form of the “criminals don’t follow laws” line that is ubiquitous in arguments again gun control despite that it’s inherently illogical.
All Trump states. Thoughts and prayers.
Naturally every redneck in Colorado has lit up the state’s political message boards with paranoid conspiracy theories about how the GUVMINT is coming for everybody’s guns so we can’t fight back against their TYRANNY, because that’s exactly what was going to happen, Jethro.
Neither is life in the American autocracy.
Yes, a wonderful weekend while the president offers to pardon anyone who breaks the law in his name, calls on the military to execute immigrants, accuses anyone criticizing him of treason, flouts the rule of law by ignoring judicial orders and Congressional oversight, and cracks down on those responsible for…
I’m defending the quote since it’s being misinterpreted.
These Splinter Biden pile-ons are becoming tiresome. They’re all the same and come at least three times a day.
That’s actually just a fact - we did mandatory busing (as we rightly should have), and minority students still don’t have equal access to good schools and educational resources. The point wasn’t that we shouldn’t have done busing, but that it didn’t do the job alone obviously and there’s a lot more to do.
This shit really sucks, but it’s odd that it’s only being raised now instead of during his long Senate career or eight years as Vice President. Why, it’s almost as if people are seeking any cudgel available to attack any candidate who isn’t Bernie Sanders, but I’m sure Splinter would never engage in anything like that.
There’s not a shred of evidence in that piece. Criticism of the original reporting is not the same as debunking, which requires actually facts and evidence. Defensive quotes from Sanders campaign officials is not evidence. If you’re going to claim something is “debunked,” the burden of proof is on you to prove that,…
