The name doesn’t bother me that much. The ‘95-’05 Blazers weren’t exactly fantastic vehicles and didn’t really do the Blazer brand any favors. So it didn’t seem like a big deal to use the name on a crossover.

Agree, torque vectoring could be useful on a lot of larger cars. I also really appreciated the torque vectoring on the Telluride that I recently tested. It really made a difference on those back roads!

Totally agree, if this RS was around $40k (which it looks like you might be able to get with incentives) it seems to make a lot more sense. Still wish it had paddle shifters though!

Seems like it might have to do with their dealer network? Closest Mitsubishi dealer to me is 30 miles away. In contrast, there are at least 8 Toyota dealerships within a 30 mile radius of where I live.

Good point. For some I’d imagine it was maybe not hate but disappointment—a reminder that Mitsubishi no longer has a “fun” car for sale in the US.

What, were you were fired for recovering from cancer?? What the hell? I hope you are doing better!

I’ve only owned one Mazda, a ‘91 spec Miata race car. I keep meaning to buy another Mazda. Just hasn’t happened. Mazdaspeed3 is on my list!

The Nova and the Prizm are relatively easy to smog. Surprisingly the 740iL passed with flying colors. Liam is a LeMons race car, so no smog for that one. Stanza and Grand Prix are projects that aren’t currently registered. Smog will be very difficult for those. Fifth Avenue took 5 or 6 tries, and somehow it pa$$ed. It Read more

Thank you! Hope you dig the videos. Yeah it doesn’t make sense for me to try to play the same game as the more established automotive channels. More new car reviews coming soon, but most likely way after embargoes lift. And of course I’m a fan of weird shit so more of that coming soon. My current wishlist: Subaru XT, Read more

Ah bummer! On the plus side, “Hateful Little Shitboxes” is a great album name if you ever decide to release some music.

Same. This third gen is my favorite of the Soul designs. Took me a while to get accustom to the rear end of this thing, but I dig it. I want a Kermit green GT Line Turbo with a manual. If it weren’t for the DCT I’d own one.

Kia also calls the Niro a “crossover” which makes my eye twitch a little bit.

Yes I suppose you could lump the Flex into this category. It’s like an xB for grown ups. I not so secretly want an Ecoboost Flex...
