Why in the world would you play a multiplayer game solo and then gripe about it?!

They’re unlocking things for everyone. It’s not like you had to be online the moment they did it. It’s all still available. All it is is stuff they would’ve released anyway but they tied it to this.

I love this, it’s one thing when a game adds content that ends up affecting the entire gameworld and it’s storyline, like with the various events that have happened in Fortnite, but it’s quite another when it’s tied to players actively triggering said event.Congrats to Clan Redeem for being the first.

Considering that large-scale battles are a hallmark for the series, and that it’s made for their battle royale mode, I find this comment to be misguided.

Police are an unimpeachable group in Spider-Man. They show no real flaws and make no mistakes.

Don’t sell yourself short. If you’re patient enough you can get lucky with bad invaders, team fire and get lucky with the final blow, etc. And in doing this, like Kirk, you may improve at PvP.

Riot asked some employees representing Riot not to publicly engage with the controversy

I own both and feel the exact opposite. Different strokes, I guess.

Say what you want about destiny, but to call a game that average players put hundreds of hours into half assed isn’t genuine.

Agreed. I’m not into these types of games, but these articles intrigue me, like the Eve online articles. I guess you can say I love dramaaaaa.

Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Now are already doing that to an extent.

I’m guessing you didn’t watch any of the video.

Not to be a dick, but that’s more on you, than on that game.

This is funny, because there are literally multiple ways into every building in that game.

You own the Xbox at the end of the term; you arent leasing it.

This is obviously not meant or intended to really move the needle for the current generation. This has to be a set up for changing how consoles are sold when they release the next Xbox.

The program’s not a total surprise, given Microsoft’s struggle to move hardware this console generation.

But this is not a lease. It is a just financing the console and services directly by them or by a 3rd party company helping with the process.

It’s just like a phone contract. At the end of the 2 year forced plan you still have the phone and the carrier won’t take it away.

I know. It’s pretty silly that we report heavily on this massive pop-cultural powerhouse with millions of players.

Oh, come on. The writer loves the series, dislikes this aspect of it, writes a piece that explains what happens in the games and what might be behind it.
