Well no one can actually pick and choose whether to answer subpoenas, but Trump’s people have been doing just that and the House has decided it’s not worth their resources to fight it in court.

Just as a general PSA: the House inquiry is still open. They could subpoena him, and have a hearing, and add articles of impeachment based on that if they wanted to.

I think that Bolton would like to take down Iran in a way that makes the oligarch warmongers the most money and has the best optics for Republicans; he knows Trump will fuck that up.

I was with some Trumpy relatives when Kavanaugh was being confirmed and they also were in tears about how unfair it is.

My most terrible Trumpy relatives have children and grandchildren in the military, a few deployed to various places. I hope they shit themselves to death out of fear.
