Doug Jones’ victory was a big win for democrats. It might’ve not been for the progressive wing of the democrat party, but the progressive wing is also a pretty powerless wing that has a much bigger bark than bite.

I think he’s terrible, and he’s going to win by a large margin. But people clamoring for progressive candidates need to stop bitching about it on the internet and vote. Turnout was embarrassingly awful yesterday, and here we are today, complaining that it didn’t go the way we wanted. I wonder why!
