Of course Google is not stupid enough to help WinPho8. Developing software for iOS can stall iOS dominance on the software side, i.e. even if ur using iphone, u'd prefer google drive and music over iOS alternatives. On the other hand, developing software for WinPho8 would only lure android/iOS users to try it out.
