Exactly. I was in high school in the late 90s and a shit ton of us got in fights but not a goddamn one of us got charged.

Also, fuck “school resource officers.” The percentage of schools that really need them is a small fraction of those that actually have them. Kids punching each other used to be handled by school staff (usually a couple of wide-bodied gym teachers) and it would stay in the school. Now it’s as if they can’t wait to get

Fuck his parents.

You fucking rock! God your story makes me so GODDAMN angry. Whyyyyyy do we protect boys at all costs? Why do adults constantly fail the younger generation?

WOO, NAILZ! Mine are sorta marigold sparklebomb with an extra-shimmery top coat, huzzah. They’re way summery/sunny, unlike our weather which is currently “about to storm like a mofo.”

I really appreciate Jezebel’s coverage of the porn industries issues, and problems like this. I like to watch porn, but I don’t want to partake of any form of porn where the actresses felt coerced or unsafe in anyway. These articles let me run out all works by folks that do transgress the actresses boundaries.

They’re literally drying right this second. They’re kind of streaky, though, despite 3 or 4 coats.

Yeah I would never make her feel badly about taking up for herself. Ever.

I bet he’ll leave her alone though. Over ten years of my mom telling me to ignore my bullies did nothing. She always said that if I stood up for myself, I was no better than the bullies. Screaming and threatening to punch them so hard they’ll be shitting teeth for weeks did the trick in high school. One public

So I forgot to tell y’all a story that happened a few weeks ago!

Claws! I’ve been wearing mood color for a couple if weeks. It’s purple when cold and this color when I’m warm. Going to switch it up to something springy-er tonight.

Show me yer nailz!

The opposite of hate is apathy, which is clearly demonstrated by Sally Kohn and Algonquin Books. Kohn’s actions are purely reactionary and she is really trying to preserve her marketability as a “woke,” pundit. The crazy thing is, is that Sally Kohn will be forgiven and she will do the rounds of apologies and Aminatou

Uh, she needs the quote for her book because she would prefer the negativity be channeled towards someone other than herself, preferably a minority woman, because if that woman has an issue, NO ONE WILL CARE.

Yeah, I’m baffled at the “oh checking quotes isn’t really protocol” - uh - I’ve read plenty of nonfiction, intended for popular consumption (versus intended for the academic community) and they’ve all had extensive citations regarding source material and quoted authors/interviews.

There’s a difference between a conversation and a quote. The irresponsibility here is mind-boggling - not just from an ethical standpoint but a CYA standpoint. I always record people whenever possible if I’m getting a quote. If I want a quote based on a conversation we had, I email them and specifically get it in
