I'm not a crack smoking big bill swallower but Motorola will probably get my business with this device. As described the device is exactly what I've been looking for. Only variables right now are whether or not the heart rate monitoring headphones work well and if the running application is any good.

This is the device I've been waiting for. I currently use a Garmin Forerunner and was considering purchasing a new model, only thing missing is the ability to play music and get audio alerts via the headphones. If the software is good on this and allows for the creation of good audio alerts (pace, heart rate, etc.)…

@lackofsunshine: This also works well when driving at night on a dark deserted highway in the middle of nowhere (a little dramatic but...). If the occasional oncoming traffic blinds you, close one eye when a car is approaching. Switch eyes after it has passed.
