Presence, yes, but no military troops. I would wager an attack on a NATO Embassy would be equivalent to an attack on a military asset, but from what I can tell no such attack has taken place. The US Embassy still stands, it’s just abandoned.

Another commenter summed it up that the NFT itself isn't actually tied to a digital asset, reproducible or otherwise. That kind of makes NFTs useless for basically anything, including things that aren't just obvious grift.

So NFTs don’t even work as designed. Not really. If there’s no way to tie the token to the asset (even if it easily reproducible) then NFTs are useless for all conceivable use cases.
