Have to say the funnyiest part of the boneyard tour was the lonely stealth F111. (it was just an empty space at end of a row of F4's with a sign and a ladder it was stealth so you couldnt see it!! lol)

yes the .45 has knock down power but not the penetration of the 5.56. The velocity of the 5.56 is much faster than the .45. I am sure having choice of wearing body armor and being shot with .45 or 5.56 i am taking .45 ( gonna hurt like hell but shouldn’t go thru armor)

when it is all said and done the ol MP5 is still a 9mm.
