Literally came here to post this.

The sense of community created by non-scumbags at shows can be one of the most incredible feelings. I was at a metal show at a tiny, packed club when I was 18 and this dude kept “accidentally” groping me. I tried to move away without losing my view of the stage, but I was right at the edge of a mosh pit too (which I

Not beside the point. There’s no ‘the’ before their name

Ghandi. I don’t know who Ghanaian is but apparently my spell check does.

A LOT of the emo and pop punk concerts I went to as a teenager made statements like that. It was a huge deal, especially at Warped Tour when people tended to be wearing fewer clothes overall. I hear a lot of jokes about how much some of these bands suck, but it was nice as a teenage girl for a dude to recognize that

That happened to me a thousand years ago at a U2 show. I was in the first row being squished and grabbed and hit and basically sexually assaulted. Packed like sardines, I literally could not move, let alone escape. Bono saw this, and screeched something similar to this guy. Cheers erupted and Bono quoted Ghanaian,

I got groped by this skeezy looking skinhead at a GWAR show a few years back and he just literally would not leave me alone. I’d move to another point in the crowd and he’d follow me and just stand directly behind me and run his hands up and down my sides and across my chest. When the crowds get tight like that,

Courtney Love said the same.

Was having a conversation with my husband about this yesterday. I said that he was able to see it from the stage bc she was crowdsurfing, but that I guarantee there were all kinds of women being groped in the crowd that the musician on stage wasn’t able to see. Mr. FashionDon’t was shocked when I told him that this

“Swans (frontman got away with rape)“

I’m not sure that getting groped at shows has ever NOT been a concern, though.

I crowd-surfed at a Zombie show back in ‘97 and changed my mind exactly four seconds after being lifted... hands immediately jamming up between my legs... no fucking thanks. Never again. Fuck that nonsense.

Small edit: it is just “Architects” not “The Architects”.

They headlined Brutal Assault Festival this year in the Czech Republic.

Agreed. Also, I feel like people need to actually read the letter. This isn’t really just cheating that she’s describing. People cheat. Men cheat. It doesn’t make them villainous or abusive. But Cole is saying that her husband is a womanizer who gaslighted her for 20 years and made her complicit in his seductions by

Did you actually read her letter? She’s not saying her husband cheated. She’s saying that he gaslighted her for 20 years while he was a womanizer. There’s a big difference between committing infidelity and doing that. She says that she’s been diagnosed with complex PTSD since piecing together the truth.

You really think she wouldn’t have gotten as much snark for speaking about the infidelity DURING the divorce? C’mon. It would have been a cavalcade of “Bitter ex just saying things bc she’s mad! Bad on many sides!”

Eh, do you really think she should just slink off into the night?

Yeah? Feminists blame the beautiful, needy, aggressive young women for their affairs?

The best thing is, she doesn’t have a driving licence - the monarch doesn’t have to have one!
