I haven’t seen them all but with what I’ve seen so far, I agree with you. It’s rather disappointing after all the hype and the so-called 16 hours of motion capture recording that the game only have bland sex scenes. I think Witcher 2 has somewhat raised the bar of sex scenes in video games and I expected 3 will

The bestiary entry says that their simple minds combined with their brutal strength are exactly the reason why trolls are chosen to guard things. They’re too stupid to question their jobs so they won’t betray their master.

Oh, that one. I didn’t quite get what Lambert was suggesting then but since Yennefer is one scary sorceress I thought Geralt should save his friends’ hides and stop him.

That you can basically make Geralt a troll conservationist (or conversationalist?). My Geralt never kill trolls other than the rabid ones out in the field. Trololol.

Damn I must have missed that. In my playthrough they only played gwent, had some rounds of “I have never...” and then watched Lambert did a shitty impersonation of Vesemir. Still awesome though.

I’m playing on my laptop so no problem there. But the inventory system is rather annoying too. Why put the books in the usable items tab? Why are bombs not on in the same tab with weapons?

Especially so in the third game. It’s one of the few times I actually stare attentively at a protagonist’s face when playing a game lol. The superb facial animations sure helps a lot too.

I actually prefer this noonwraith (?) version to the official griffin. I remember feeling rather disappointed when I first saw the CE figure design. Not that I had the money to buy one though.

Ooh, that would have been great. Kawada Shinji’s not bad either though.

That seiyuu list though. Tsuda Kenjiro and Kawada Shinji, and there’s Hanazawa Kana too. If the lines in this game are mostly voiced I’m pretty much sold already.

FFX-2 was the first game that I played for, not tens, but hundreds of hours, all to get that (at the time) elusive 100% completion. Perhaps it’s my first step to the crazy levels of time investment in video games. I don’t know how many times I had watched this opening sequence then and watching it today I still think

Hear, hear.

I’m getting some Peaky Blinders vibes from the trailer.

I see. I guess I’ll just have to consciously create a separate decision-meter for my “non-book Geralt” playthrough. Sorry I’m weird lol.

Question, should I read the books to properly understand the things happening in this game?

God, this would fit perfectly as the running commentary to my third Witcher 2 playthrough (which I’m currently doing).

Good question. Maybe someone here should try make an article about this. Here’s what I thought:

I have a friend who’s also a train fan/densha otaku. It’s amazing how they can recognize different types of trains and locomotives from the shape, a single glimpse of the interior, even from the sound of the engine.

Very interesting to see that NA players are like, we want more open worlds, more side activities, while the Japanese players are kind of confused with the lack of guidance and finding the demo too difficult. I think the Japanese players react as such because the FF series appeals to not only the hardcore gamers but

Never played a Silent Hill game or P.T. (and never will), but this sure is annoying.
