Yes. All space battles in eve are visual. At the small and mid scale they can be quite exciting. The problem that happens is in the big battles. Becausd the amount of people involved the game shifts I to time dilation or tidi. If tbey didn’t do this the game would crash.

Your wrong in that your seeing only one side of the game. Eve has the most complex market in any mmo. Its possible to play the game without ever leavi g station. However nothing says you have to play that way.

You can sort of dodge. Turrets have a tracking speed and missiles have explosion velocity. You can out maneu er both to avoid getti g hit. Not really a factor in tidi battles tgough. Im also oversimplifying
