Caleb. I can never remember his name because I couldn’t care less about his character! He just gets in the way of the story. He’s dull, odd looking and vapid. I’d speed though is scenes except I love Dolores and care about her journey.

Freecloud? Stardust City? Costumes that wouldn’t look out of place on the Diamond Dogs album cover? This episode is coming across like a Bowie tribute to me

As a parent, I can say I would have done exactly the same thing Seven did. And while Picard felt the need to lecture her that “vengeance is murder,” I’m pretty sure if Janeway had been there, she would have asked Seven to hand her a phaser so they could kill the gangster together. After all, if Seven was Icheb’s

There’s always talk of Ford being too old. Part of me feels that it’s Spielberg who may have aged out. There’s a spark and attention to detail in his older films... that seems to be less present now.

Titles like my fictitious examples, and the continuing overarching “in your face” religious-like tropes are just, to me, playing to old, wrong, white-folks-view-of-black-folks-religious-behaviors. (In other words racial stereotypes

I mean, calling it Harley Quinn and the Birds of Prey would have been for the best. For one thing, it would have put Harley front and center in the title, rather than just the marketing, indicating that, yes, this is a Harley Quinn movie...with the Birds of Prey in it, too. Which, yeah, it is.

“Cats” is not genre. I’m not sure exactly what it is, but it isn’t genre.

I’m disappointed as it was every bit as entertaining as I hoped it would be and then some (and I’m one who openly disparaged this when it was announced). I think the box office disappointment comes down to two factors:

REALLY under-advertised: I didn’t even realize it was out already. My wife and I have been looking forward to this one.

It’s a very dark and cynical Trek, as others have said in comments to last weeks review. I agree with most of those.

Any form of electronic voting should be kept out of all democratic (not the party but the system) elections.  Paper and pencil is still the most secure way we have because attacks on those do not scale well.

How many times have the Flash or the Arrow had the “no more lies” conversations with their teams? There’s always some dark secret that drives the team apart just two episodes before the climax, requiring everyone slowly comes back together through the power of love. My struggle to finish out the backlog of Arrow began

Just goes to show, the real Good Place is the families and friendships we build together.

Just goes to show, the real Good Place is the families and friendships we build together. And nothing can destroy that, not even death (or skinsuit demons).

I agree, but on the other hand the cast was becoming a bit unwieldy... Ava, Gary, Mona, and Nora were all recent additions without much being purged out the other side.

There were three stories:

Rose bugged me in TLJ. Not because she was a woman or because of her ethnicity, but because she seemed to have been introduced mainly to be forced into a relationship with Finn. I liked the character, but the forced “romance” pissed me off to no end.

This is the kind of thing that really puts me off the Star Wars stuff (and a lot of other modern things as well). You need to .. watch the TV show, read the comic, buy the gum, the stuffed limited edition toy animal, listen to the podcast and subscribe to the magazine to find out who that obscure character that showed

Meh, I’m pretty sure it got cancelled because season 2 was hot garbage.

I hate this so much.
