Uh, no it's not. Intimacy is a whole different equation. Sex can be part of intimacy, but it not the whole thing. Emotions, intellect, shared experiences, culture, all combine for intimacy. You can have sex without intimacy. You can have sex with intimacy. Same as in and outside of marriage.
