I’m reading Northanger Abbey right now. I’m trying to read more classics this year. I don’t really like the classics by male authors (too wordy) but I’m enjoying Jane Austen.

I have a question. How much talking is too much talking at a sporting event? I was recently at a hockey game and the 2 girls behind me talked non stop, relentlessly until halfway through the 3rd when I asked them to please stop talking for just 5 minutes. I got some snide remarks from them about how I was being rude

I completely agree. I love Amy Schumer but when I watched the special I kept thinking I’ve heard all these jokes already.

I’m glad the tamoxifen works for you. It almost killed me before I got to go off it. And now my periods have started again and my doctors are talking about putting me back on. I told them it would never happen and we will have to remove my ovaries. Cancer sucks

I’ve been through breastfeeding cancer mastectomy chemo and radiation. It sucks balls but it can be done. I hope this turns out to be a false alarm but if it doesn’t you need to do what is best for you. Ifor you need to cry then cry. If you need to tell the positive thinking people to fuck off then tell them to fuck

I’m doing fine. I didn’t realize how long it would take to recover from the chemo. After 2 years I started to feel like myself again. Hope everything goes well for you. Just keep on keeping on.

That’s criminal. I had a mastectomy and 3 reconstruction surgeries plus chemo and radiation. As a Canadian all I had to pay for was parking. Even the meds to prevent vomiting were covered. I don’t understand how people tolerate the system the US has.

So sorry for your loss. I just lost a sweet baby a couple of months ago and my old girl is 19 so every morning when I don’t see her I start to panic.

There are quite a few exciting Canadian moments in history but so many have been “Americanized” in movies and such that no one remembers that they are ours. Read Pierre Burton’s book Vimy. It is a history book but it reads like a novel. I claim Vimy as one of my personal favorite moments because my grandpa was there.

Interesting that in his mind his wife’s accomplishments are all tied up in how well his kids are doing.

Pro birthers need to realize that the need for abortions would decrease with comprehensive sex education and easy and free access to birth control. Unfortunately they are often against this as well. You can’t have it both ways.

The Canadian government had to pressure Fox to take down that tweet otherwise it would probably still be up there.

If you’re under 5'9" forget about it.

Winnipeg is a city. Manitoba is the province.

Coconut oil and baking soda. Mix it into a pasre and go to town

I object to having to see this man's bare breasts.

Where do they think transgender people were going to the bathroom up till now? And are they not at all concerned about women going into men’s bathrooms and grabbing penises? Or maybe to them that would be a wet dream come true.

tDeborah wasn’t even looking for financial compensation, all she wanted was to have the world know that these weren’t just some cells named HeLa, but that they came from a real person, who was a mother and wife and who had hopes and dreams. All she wanted was recognition for her mother.

My surgeon made a nipple out of my flap. He made some incisions and in his words oragamied it together into a 3D nipple. It took about 15 minutes and we chatted the whole time.

In 2013 I had a mastectomy on my left side with immediate reconstruction so that when I woke up I had two breasts. I was so glad I did it as I felt that for me it was less traumatizing for me that way. My reconstructed breast had no nipple though, just a flap made from skin from my belly. It took me a long time before
