I’ll get started on my mandatory Madisynn shrine now. All hail the peak of comedy! Down with the dissenters! They will be sacrificed!

I think it’s trope subversion. And she’s not really all that much of a joke. Sure her initial first impression is of a 1 dimensional party girl, but all of her actions from the portal onward subvert that. The viewer would expect her to freak out and be some high maintenance, demanding entitled overly emotional mess

She’s a Jean Ralphio. By all rights, she should be intolerable, but by some miraculous synergy of casting, writing, and chemistry, she manages to be just on the right side of endearing in her intolerableness.

There was a day long ago.

You always coloured the sky grey as a child, didn’t you?

She was a *GREAT* joke of a person.

I left this article still not knowing what Zendayas mom looks like, very similar to security and 99.99% of the population. Unless, I’m wrong, but I don’t think she’s a famous mom...

Stoppard, eh? Must be a play-within-a-play involved. Only question is if it’s supposed to be a reference to existential re-interpretation a la Rosencrantz & Guildenstern, or to recursive criticism a la The Real Inspector Hound.

And since they make money, YouTube will do nothing about it.

I know it’s Jezebel’s thing to be all edgy and whatnot, but Ryan Reynolds should be applauded for streaming his colonoscopy, not made fun of. Younger people are being diagnosed with colon cancer at alarming rates (my husband was 34 - he’s thankfully cancer free now) and anything that encourages people to get their

“We’ve always done it this way... She was an addict and we just used her as an informant like we’ve done a million times before...chalking the incident up to his own inexperience...There are always things you learn that you can do better.”

Officers overseeing the operation also claimed they hadn’t considered that an attack like this would happen.”

A person who whole heartedly embraces weird conspiracy theories, attributes utter bullshit conclusions involving satanic plots to political leanings and has blamed George Soros for everything under the sun may actually be a bit insane herself?

Isn’t “F*ck it, I’ll Kill Us All!” the Republican party platform these days?

I mean, there’s a reason Rob Schneider isn’t the one who played 3 different characters on NewsRadio.

I miss Roger Ebert. The discourse was so much more civilized when he was still with us, and this column is a good reminder why.

This isn’t going to be this isn’t going to be a popular take, because I do agree it was a cringey moment. But what she was expressing there was what a lot of women felt, what we knew was coming, and what eventually happened on June 24, 2022.

Schneider is a very articulate guy who can go on at-length discussion of issues he’s passionate about (See: His published rebuttal to Ebert’s demolition of the second Deuce Bigalow film.)

Missed “Irresistible”? Lucky you.
