I explain the taste to people as if Caramel came from a tree like syrup and you’re just eating the raw stuff. I get where people say onions but rotten garbage is absurd. People just don’t like going out of their comfort zones.

Your preference of the taste is what makes it smell bad. I love the stuff and don’t think it smells bad in the least. Someone who doesn’t like the taste will just automatically hate the smell because it reminds them of it. Just spent a long time in Malaysia and I miss being able to have Durian when ever I wanted.

Yeah totally...except for the 4 years of college living in Manhattan and then two years living in Brooklyn with a car, but obviously NYC is not as “metro” as say Boston...but once again 1/3 of a mile at 10 mins = 30 mins for a mile. So your 4.5 mile commute would take...an agonizing 2 hours and 15 mins.
