When did Rey use telekinesis? I totally agree that she pulled mind control out of nowhere. I doubt Kylo Ren trying to extract info was enough to give her the idea that commanding someone could make them obey. But then again she did read his mind about vader. So maybe Rey got more clues from Ren than we think.

I agree, that it’s sad that the original heroes are a failure. But that’s it right there, they failed. Not in stopping the empire but in rebuilding.
